Add a video bubble to your Teachable site

Teachable adds scripts to the head of your school's pages. Its logged-out field is a neat fit: the bubble greets people who haven't bought yet, and enrolled students aren't interrupted.

Before you start

A Teachable Builder plan or higher. Code Snippets aren't available on lower plans.
Owner access to your school.
Your CornerHello install line (Dashboard → Install).

Your install line

Copy it from Dashboard → Install; it already contains your site key. It looks like this:

Steps

In your Teachable admin, select Site, then Code Snippets.

Paste your CornerHello line into Logged Out Snippets to greet visitors who aren't signed in, or into Head Code Snippets to show it to everyone.

Click Save, then open your school in a private window while signed out.

Check that it works

Open your site in a private window and wait a few seconds: the bubble slides into the corner. In your dashboard, Install → Verify confirms that the line is found. Nothing showing? Check that the page matches your funnel’s page rules and that the funnel is published.

Teachable Support doesn't debug custom code. If something looks off, remove the line, save and refresh to check.
If your school uses SSO, Teachable doesn't run head snippets on the SSO login and checkout pages.

CornerHello on Teachable

Will enrolled students see the bubble?

Not if you use Logged Out Snippets: that field only runs for visitors who aren't signed in.

Will it slow my school down?

The script is about 3 KB, loads asynchronously and waits until the page has finished loading.
